One of the greatest things about being human is that we are tied to our relationships and connections in life. It’s beautiful how we rely on and come together with other people. The flipside of our need to connect and the importance we have in community, however, is how it can develop into a need to be liked. If we’re worried about how people view us, how they acknowledge who we are, if they like us, or if they agree with the choices we make, then we may not live the most authentic life. So, this episode of The Soul Frequency is all about healing this need to be liked.
In this conversation, I discuss the need to be liked, what this looks like, and how you can heal it. I then give a real-life example of this, discuss ways to overcome it, and close with some questions you can ask yourself to help you identify when you are doing something just to please others.
