What makes someone feel self-empowered?
This is a huge question and one that many times goes unanswered. Knowing exactly where self empowerment comes from can seem elusive, yet we are going to dive into the links between childhood trauma and how it relates to self-empowerment. There is great research on how our physical body and brain responds to the early imprinting we receive, and the probability of certain experiences occurring as a result of it later on in life.
This week, award-winning nutritional therapist, bioenergetic practitioner, and mind-body expert Niki Gratrix joined me on the show. She co-founded one of the largest mind-body clinics in integrative medicine in the UK with patients in 35 countries. She worked there as Director of Nutrition until 2010, and has helped patients overcome fatigue and understand the affects of childhood trauma on their adult lives.
In this podcast episode…
Niki shares the research on the physical and emotional effects of early childhood trauma, correcting imprints from your ancestral lineage, and resolving emotional trauma!
Last week we talked about the five elements of Chinese medicine with Brodie Welch. This was a deeply powerful conversation for greater health and happiness! I loved what she shared about understanding our constitution. What did you take away from Brodie’s episode? Check out last week’s episode to find out more!
Also, don’t forget to listen to the end of the episode for this week’s new take action item!
