Avo Beef Lettuce Wraps Recipe

There’s a super popular restaurant known for lettuce wraps (shh…we’ll never tell!), but many would be surprised to learn that these wrap faves are full of ingredients that are less than savory.

We’ve all been there, haven’t we? Giving in to temptation and convenience, but saving face by trying to opt for the healthiest fast-food option. Inevitably, we’re deceived by the shiny pictures and misleading wording, and end up eating something that loosely resembles lettuce.

5 reasons people keep eating when they are full

The terms “natural,” “healthy,” and “fresh” should be taken with a grain of salt (no pun intended) when eating out. I think we can all agree that the ultimate goal should be to keep the taste and replace the unhealthy ingredients with nutritious options. Let’s have the best of all worlds!

By keeping the ingredients organic and high-quality, such as purchasing only grass fed beef and fresh, organic produce, Avo Beef Lettuce Wraps are a healthy alternative to those found in restaurants.

Grass fed beef is free of antibiotics and, comes from cows who are fed on a natural grass diet instead of grain. Grass fed beef is also higher in healthy Omega-3 fats; is a good source of riboflavin, niacin and zinc; and a great good source of protein, vitamin C, vitamin B12, iron, phosphorus, copper and selenium. All that, and we haven’t even talked about the avocado yet!

5 foods to avoid when feeling anxious or depressed

Mix the beef with some good ‘ol avocado, which is not only rich in healthy fats, but is also a great source of pantothenic acid, dietary fiber, vitamin K, copper, folate, vitamin B6, potassium, vitamin E, and vitamin C, and you are in for one nutritious meal. Substitute the beef for some diced chicken or ground turkey if you’d like to mix it up a little, and enjoy the savory, fresh crunch!
